We are excited to share that The River Park Veterinary Hospital is opening in January 2025 and we are hiring our teammates! We will be fully equipped veterinary facility with digital x-rays, ultrasound, state of art in -house full Idexx lab, surgical setup and anesthetics machines. We are currently looking to hire 2-3 Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVT) to join our team.
Responsibilities
– Perform initial evaluations of furry friends
– Assist with medical procedures and surgeries under the supervision of veterinarians
– Provide nursing care for in clinic patients including their on time required medical treatment and feeding them according to their health status.
– Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results
– Take digital x-rays
– Maintain accurate patient care records
– Educate pet owners on proper patient care and treatment plan
– Explaining pet owners about pre-operative and post-operative instructions.
– Helps veterinary team in follow up of patients during clinic visit or hospitalization.
Professional requirements
– Certification degree – Animal Health Technologist / Veterinary Technologist Diploma
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital will be an asset. New grads are welcome to apply
