The MVTA is pleased to host a two-day hands-on continuing education event at Red River College Polytechnic on October 3–4, 2026. Registration for the MVTA Advanced Training Conference will open on Tuesday, August 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and close on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

Current MVTA members are given priority for registration due to limited space in each lab, and we appreciate your continued support of the association. Registration will open to RVTs outside of Manitoba on August 31, 2026.

Please note that session sizes are limited to ensure each instructor can work closely with participants during hands-on training. We encourage you to register early to secure a spot in the labs you are most interested in.

This conference is designed to provide MVTA members with affordable, practical hands-on training to build skills in five key areas: cytology, ultrasound, emergency, anesthesia, and uroliths.

We are also pleased to offer a sponsored travel bursary opportunity for attendees travelling to the conference from 90 minutes or more outside Winnipeg. If sponsorship is secured, selected recipients will receive one night’s hotel accommodation and a $50 gas gift card. The bursary draw will take place on September 4, 2026.
