Winnipeg Animal Emergency Hospital is seeking a full-time RVT to join our busy emergency practice.
No shift is ever the same at WAEH! We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic RVT with a strong work ethic to work alongside our experienced team of RVT’s and veterinarians.
Though you will be a part of a close-knit team, you must have the confidence to work alone or with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years experience in general practice with critical and surgical nursing skills a welcome asset.
WAEH is a well-equipped veterinary hospital with digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, state of the art diagnostic and surgical equipment, and advanced anesthetic monitoring equipment. We work in collaboration with Pembina Veterinary Hospital to provide 24 hour care to patients with a wide variety of medical needs. We see pets from all over Manitoba, and work closely with several rescues, including the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Shifts on a rotating 2 week schedule and are a combination of 8-12 hour evening/ overnight shifts with an overnight premium offered.
